This week brought new direction for the end of my book. For some time now, I have wondered if one of the characters should die, but I could not imagine who (or how). So although this news may seem dark on the weekend we honor our dead, I am excited to share that an answer was revealed on the very last day of my seasonal job--just when I have time to write again.
Of course, it's not the only possibility, but I have moved beyond the obvious conclusion at last. This holiday, I rewrite the epilogue and see what unfolds in my fictional world.
